Kalaoa Stream Bridge Closing for Repairs

The Kalaoa Stream Bridge located on the Old Māmalahoa Hwy makai of Highway 19 will be closed for repair work on Tuesday, March 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather and construction conditions permitting.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during the bridge closure.
The bridge is expected to reopen at the end of the workday when repairs are completed, which include repairing and underpinning of the scoured south abutment footing.
