A High Surf Advisory is posted for the north shore of the Big Island through 6 p.m. Monday.

A Small Craft Advisory is posted for all island waters through 6 p.m. Monday.

Hilo side: Wave heights are forecast from head high to overhead today for the best breaks and rising through the day.

Kona side: Wave heights are expected about waist/shoulder high today with head high sets at the best exposures and building through the day.

South: Wave heights are expected to be waist/shoulder high today from the northwest wrap and building.

The Kona side will be heavily shadowed but will still see some wrap up to waist / head high. The swell holds Tuesday morning before fading. another possible swell is expected for the 18 / 19th.

Nothing significant is expected out of the SPAC with minimal leftovers expected this week.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
