Biosecurity Meetings Scheduled in Hilo and Kona

The Hawai‘i Department of Agriculture will hold meetings statewide to receive public input on the draft of the state’s 2017-27 Hawaii Interagency Biosecurity Plan.

This is the first comprehensive plan that includes coordinated strategies involving several agencies and partners to help increase the state’s biosecurity and protect Hawai‘i from invasive species.

The meetings are scheduled this week in Hilo and Kailua-Kona.
