Hydrant Testing in South Hilo Scheduled

The Department of Water Supply will be conducting a fire hydrant flow test on the comer of Hualālai Street and Kapi‘olani Street in South Hilo on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, between 9 and 10 a.m.

The affected area may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test.

Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.

Hualālai Street between Kino‘ole Street to Popolo Street

Kapi‘olani Street between Ponahawai Street and Mohouli Street, Including Hale Nani Street, Holomalia Street, ‘lPUKA Street, Hema Street, Ailuna Street, Kupukupu Street, Aheahe Street, Wailoa Street,‘Akahi Street, Ululani Street, Kitkoau Street, and any side roads and lanes
