Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for Michael James Varize, 27, who is wanted on three bench warrants.

Varize—also known as Lawrence Fujioka, Larry Fujioka and “Mikey Boy”—is wanted for probation violation and two counts of contempt of court. He is also wanted for questioning in numerous other investigations.

He may be in the North Kohala, South Kohala or Hāmākua District.

He is described as 5-foot-11, 145 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Police caution the public not to approach him. Instead, anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
