Looking Ahead
A disturbance high in the atmosphere is expected to keep the winds lighter than normal through next week. Gentle trade winds will continue most of the time, but daytime sea breezes and nighttime land breezes will prevail this weekend. We do not expect trades to return until early next week.

We expect sunny skies in the morning with mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers in the afternoon for the Kona side. Partly cloudy skies are expected for the Hilo side with scattered showers. Winds are out of the east from 15 to 20 mph. High temperatures from 81° to 86°.
