HHSC West Hawai’i Names New Chair
The Hawai’i Health Systems Corporation West Hawai’i board of directors elected retired Dentist Frank Sayre as its new Chairman on Friday.
HHSC’s West Hawai’i Region is made up of Kona Community Hospital and Kohala Hospital.
Sayre joined the board in July 2014. He was previously a member of the KCH surgical staff and HHSC’s Management Advisory Committee for West Hawai’i. He is a volunteer board member on the Daniel Sayre Memorial Foundation, Peoples Advocacy for Trails Hawai’i, and the Pu’u Wa’a Wa’a Advisory Council.
Vice Chair Renee Inaba acted as interim Chair following the death of Bill Cliff in January.
