Looking Ahead
A series of weak fronts are expected over the next several days. The end result will be intervals of land and sea breeze weather peppered with periods of light to moderate trade winds. Volcanic haze will linger, temporarily thinning or clearing during the brief bouts of trade winds. Total rainfall is forecast to be light.
Today
Today we expect mostly sunny skies for the Kona side with just isolated showers. Windward and mauka areas will be partly cloudy with scattered morning showers. Winds are out of the east around 15 mph. Sunday, the weather will be similar but with breezier winds out of the southeast from 15 to 20 mph. High temperatures from 80° to 85°.

Tonight
East winds are expected around 15 mph tonight. Sunday they will veer southeasterly and pick up into the 15 to 20 mph range. Low temperatures from 68° to 73°. Scattered windward showers and isolated leeward showers are in the forecast.
