Hawai’i’s newest community college, Hawai’i Community College – Pālamanui, will host a Degree Preparation Workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Hosted by the University Center at Pālamanui, the workshop will give students the opportunity to learn about the degrees offered in West Hawai’i, the necessary steps to move forward, key deadlines, methods of program delivery, and what it takes to be a successful distance learning student.

There are more than 40 degree and certificate programs from across the 10-campus University of Hawai’i system available through the University Center at Pālamanui.

The workshop will be held in room B-125.

Those interested in attending should reserve a spot by contacting Carrie Kuwada Phipps, Educational Specialist, by e-mailing carriekp@hawaii.edu or call 969-8808.
