Looking Ahead

A weak front is expected to gradually move down the island chain through Tuesday accompanied by some passing light showers mainly over windward and mauka areas. Behind the front trade winds are forecast to build in. Clouds and passing showers will continue to favor windward and mauka areas. Another front is expected to approach late in the week with winds becoming lighter. There may be and increase in shower activity out ahead of the front.

Today partly sunny skies are expected with scattered light windward showers. Scattered afternoon showers are possible as the sea breeze develops for the Kona side. High temperatures from 81° to 86°. North winds are forecast up to 15 mph.

Tonight

East winds are expected in the evening up to 15 mph. Low temperatures from 69° to 74°. Mostly cloudy skies are expected in the evening with showers likely for windward spots. Leeward spots should see clearing as the night goes on.
