Looking Ahead

Breezy trade winds are expected to continue through the week and could become locally windy on the Big Island this weekend. Clouds and showers continue to focus over the windward coasts and slopes, though the trades will be strong enough to carry some showers to leeward areas. Heavy showers and thunderstorms will be possible on the Big Island later Saturday through Monday as a moist and unstable tropical air mass moves over the southern end of the state.

Today

We expect partly cloudy skies for windward Big Island with scattered showers. The Kona side will be mostly clear to start and mostly cloudy with isolated showers in the afternoon. High temperatures from 87° to 92°. East winds from 15 to 20 mph.

Tonight
