Hilo side: Waist/shoulder high waves expected today for east exposed breaks.
Kona side: Wave heights of knee/waist high are expected. The best breaks could get bigger waves on the sets.
South: Wave heights knee/waist high are expected. Standout spots could get a bit bigger on the sets.
Our current south-southwest continues to fade into Wednesday as a new south-southwest swell starts to slowly build. This swell is expected to fill in Thursday/Friday before beginning to fade on Saturday. A couple of swells are due in early next week as well.
Out of the North Pacific conditions will be pretty flat with no significant swells on the horizon.
Trade swell it expected through the next few days in the knee/waist/chest high range.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
