Leeward spots will get lots of morning sunshine then clouds will build in the afternoon along with isolated showers. Hazy skies are possible for the Kona side in the afternoon. Windward spots are forecasted to get partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers mainly in the morning. Winds are expected out of the northeast from 15 to 25 mph, gusting to 35 mph. High temperatures from 81° to 86°.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight and numerous windward showers are expected. Partly cloudy for leeward spots with isolated showers and clearing as the night goes on. Trade winds are forecasted from 15 to 25 mph, gusting to 35 mph. Low temperatures from 70° to 75° are expected.
Looking Ahead
The trade winds are expected to strengthen into the weekend with showers focusing over windward and mauka areas. This trade wind weather pattern is expected to continue through the next several days with best chances of rain during the overnight and morning hours. The trades should weaken a little by the middle of next week.
