Girl Scouts of Hawaiʻi seek original designs for 110th anniversary T-shirt
Designs may incorporate the Girl Scout trefoil, Queen Liliʻuokalani, the Hawaiian flag or other elements tied to local Girl Scout history.
Girl Scouts of Hawaiʻi is seeking designs for an original T-shirt to mark its 110th anniversary.
The T-shirt will commemorate the organization that was founded in 1917 with the support and sponsorship of Queen Liliʻuokalani.
“As we celebrate 110 years, we want a local artist to help us honor that history in a way that feels true to Girl Scouts in Hawaiʻi today,” said CEO Dr. Kanoe Nāone in a news release.
Artists are encouraged to develop their own interpretation of the anniversary theme. Designs may incorporate the Girl Scout trefoil, Queen Liliʻuokalani, the Hawaiian flag or other elements tied to local Girl Scout history. Artwork should be designed for a two-color print.
The selected artist will work with Girl Scouts of Hawaiʻi on revisions and provide original, print-ready artwork. Artist proposals are due by Oct. 1. The shirts should be available by January 2027.
