Search underway for two brothers last seen leaving Mountain View area on bicycles
Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding two young brothers, Daltin and Destin Soares, who were last seen riding their bikes on Monday afternoon.

Authorities are asking for the publicʻs assistance in locating two young brothers reported missing and considered endangered after they were last seen Monday afternoon in the Aloha Estates subdivision in Mountain View.
According to authorities, 8-year-old Daltin Soares and his 6-year-old brother, Destin Soares, were last seen at about 2:46 p.m. Aug. 3.
Both children were observed leaving the area on bicycles and may be traveling together.
Daltin Soares is described as Hawaiian, 4 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 60 pounds, with short brown hair, brown eyes and a tan complexion. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and black shorts.
Destin Soares is described as Hawaiian, 4 feet tall, weighing about 50 pounds, with short brown hair, brown eyes and a tan complexion. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and blue shorts.
Police said the children were reported as runaways; however, because of their young ages, both are considered endangered.
Anyone with information that could help locate Daltin Soares or assist in ensuring the children’s safe return is urged to call 911 or contact the Hawaiʻi Police Department at 808-935-3311.
