The annual JoAnn Williams event offers a diverse and impressive assortment of items by vendors and artisans from throughout the islands; scheduled July 18 at Courtyard King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel in Kailua-Kona.

Santa is likely taking a much-needed quick summer vacation before he has to head back to the North Pole and continue working to make everyone’s Christmas Day extra special.

Organizers behind the JoAnn Williams annual Christmas in July Gift, Jewelry, Arts & Crafts Fair, however, are working overtime to ease some of the Jolly Old Elf’s stress when he returns to the workshop.

Everyone is invited to the this year’s fair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 18 at Courtyard King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel.

The hotel’s ballrooms, entryway, Herb Kane Mall and middle garden tent area will be decked out in holiday style, featuring vendors and artisans from throughout Hawai‘i, who will be offering a diverse and impressive selection of unique items and handmade gift ideas.

Admission is free, parking will be validated and there will be free prizes given away.

Christmas in July offers an assortment of handmade jewelry, art, wood and ceramic items, photography, cards, paintings, jams and jellies, quilts, bags, purses, hats, clothing, crocheted items, lotions and oils, makeup, personal care items, baby items, dolls, Santa figures, household and kitchen items, mugs, bath bombs, cutting boards, blankets, signs, ornaments, lamps, plants, fabric, baked goods and much more.

“Please support your local vendors,” says an event flyer. “Come ‘buy’ and see us!”

Courtyard King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel is located at 75-5660 Palani Road in Kailua-Kona.
