Update: Kamuela man was reported missing again hours after being found Monday evening

Update at 8:15 a.m. June 30: Lance Harris James Volpa, 39, is missing again, according to the Hawaiʻi Police Department.

After it was reported that Volpa was found on Monday afternoon, police released another missing person notification at about 7:43 p.m. Monday, June 29.

Volpa was last seen wearing a white shirt, black hat, black pants and Crocs at 6:25 p.m. on Monday, June 29 in Kamuela. He is described as being 6 feet tall, 200 pounds and Hawaiian.

Update at 5:15 p.m. June 29: The Hawaiʻi Police Department report that Lance Harris James Volpa has been located in good health.

Original story at 3:30 p.m. June 29: Hawaiʻi authorities are asking for the publicʻs assistance in locating 39-year-old Lance Harris James Volpa, who is considered endangered and was last seen in the South Kohala area over the weekend.

Volpa was last seen in Kamuela at around 1:30 pm on June 27, according to the Hawaiʻi Police Department.

Police describe Volpa Native Hawaiian, about six feet tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds. He has tattoos on both arms.

Anyone with information on Volpaʻs whereabouts is urged to contact the Hawaiʻi Police Deparmentʻs non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or 911.
