Motorists are asked to avoid Daniel K. Inouye Highway (Saddle Road) between Kaumana Drive and Mauna Kea Access Road in South Hilo.
The Hawaiʻi Police Department reports that Daniel K. Inouye Highway is closed in both directions between the 13- and 14-mile markers for the next three hours due to a vehicle collision and police investigation.
Please avoid this area and use alternate routes.
