Hawai‘i Island police seek Kona credit card theft suspect

Hawaiʻi Island police are seeking a suspect in an investigation into the fraudulent use of a credit card in Kona and are asking the public for help with identifying the man captured in surveillance footage.

The credit card was used between March 13 and 16 at multiple businesses in Kailua-Kona.

The victim reported an unknown person used the card to make unauthorized purchases at several businesses, including two large Big Box stores.

Surveillance footage from the businesses shows a dark-skinned male with a beard using the card and leaving the stores.
