The Rainbow Room invites community members and everyone visiting for the 63rd annual Merrie Monarch Festival for some awesome Hawaiian music during Happy Hour weekdays throughout Merrie Monarch Week.

Merrie Mele Happy Hour from 3 to 5 p.m. begins Monday, April 6, and will feature excellent Hawaiian musicians along with food and drink specials.

Festivities will be capped off Sunday, April 12, with a special Merrie Monarch Afterparty.

Merrie Mele Happy Hour schedule

  • Monday, April 6: Jimmy Burgess and Friends from O‘ahu.
  • Tuesday, April 7: Victor Chock of Kanakapila LIVE!
  • Wednesday, April 8: Christy Lassiter, Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winning singer and newest member of Kanakapila LIVE!
  • Thursday, April 9: Melemai Kahumoku, featuring Stan Combis and Grammy and Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winning slack key artist Keoki Kahumoku.
  • Friday, April 10: Mano Ali‘i.

The special Merrie Monarch Afterparty is from 6 to 9 p.m. April 12 and features Kanakapila LIVE!

It will be the second chance to experience the group during the week since it also graces The Rainbow Room with its amazing melodies every Tuesday.

All ages are welcome to the special Merrie Mele Happy Hour and Merrie Monarch Afterparty events.
