Par Hawai‘i is Fueling Dreams, asking drivers to go extra mile for Special Olympics Hawai‘i
Par Hawai‘i — marketer of Hele and 76 Hawai‘i — is revving up for the return of its annual Fueling Dreams fundraising campaign for Special Olympics Hawai‘i.

Hawai‘i drivers from April 13 to May 24 can go the extra mile by donating while checking out at any participating Hele station, including 20 on O‘ahu, eight on Hawai‘i Island and five on Maui.
All donations help athletes with intellectual disabilities train and compete free of charge.
“We believe in the mission of Special Olympics Hawai‘i and appreciate the staff, volunteers and partners who are dedicated to transforming the lives of thousands across our islands through sports,” said Par Hawai‘i Vice President of Hawai‘i Retail and Special Olympics Hawai‘i board member John Peyton in a Par Hawai‘i announcement about the annual fundraiser. “We’ve had the privilege of seeing Special Olympics Hawai‘i grow in exciting ways over the years, and we encourage the community to join us in supporting this great nonprofit organization.”
Fueling Dreams has raised more than $1,105,003 to date for Special Olympics Hawai‘i athletes and programs.
“For more than two decades, Par Hawai‘i has been a dedicated partner in helping create life-changing opportunities for our athletes,” said Special Olympics Hawai‘i President and Chief Executive Order Dan Epstein in the announcement. “As one of our mission partners, their continued support fuels more than just competition. It inspires confidence, builds community and empowers our athletes to thrive both on and off the field.”

All donations received through the Fueling Dreams campaign allow Special Olympics Hawai‘i to continue providing programs and training for more than 7,000 athletes and Unified partners throughout Hawai‘i.
In addition to Fueling Dreams, Par Hawai‘i has also served as sponsor of the Special Olympics Hawai‘i Summer Games Opening Ceremonies and supports its employees’ participation in Special Olympics Hawai‘i’s Over the Edge fundraiser and other activities through the years.
Special Olympics Hawai‘i also provides free year-round sports programs and training for athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympics has changing attitudes since 1968 about the talents of people with intellectual disabilities and raising awareness to build an inclusive and unified community.
