Former Kohala Coast estate of the late Lisa Marie Presley on the market for $17.5M

A rare estate within the Mauna Lani resort that once belonging to the late Lisa Marie Presley is on the market for $17.5 million.
Realtor Paul Stukin described the 8,178-square-foot home as having a “Hawaiiana vibe.”
The estate, also known as Hale Ohi‘a, was built with more than 250 native ohi‘a logs, which are no longer permitted for harvest. It sits on two thirds of an acre that overlooks the 12th fairway of the resort’s golf course.

The property at 68-1028 Honokaope Place is listed by the real estate company Deep Blue HI.
“The residence represents craftsmanship that cannot be recreated under modern construction,” Deep Blue HI writes in the listing. “The timbers rise through woven lauhala ceilings and expansive living spaces, anchoring the home in Hawai‘i’s landscape and tradition.”
Stukin, founder of Deep Blue HI, is the realtor handling the property. On Tuesday, he said he’s had a dozen calls and eight people seriously interested in the home.

Images show large spaces with chairs and tables where groups can gather for indoor or outdoor events.
“The home is really special and conducive to a gathering place,” Stukin said. “We’ve been getting a lot of interest from people who’ve been coming to the Mauna Lani their whole lives, looking for a place where their families can come for holidays, and enjoy the Big Island as they remembered over the years.”
Presley, a singer-songwriter and the daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, passed away in 2023 at the age of 54. She had held the property through the Promenade Trust from 2010 to 2015, according to the Robb Report. She used it primarily as a private island retreat for friends and family.
The home was sold in 2015 to Mike Splinter, former chairman and CEO of semiconductor giant Applied Materials, and his wife, Patricia.
Mike Splinter told the Robb Report that the home has served as a gathering place for their extended family over the past decade, describing it as magical.

According to the listing, the interior of the 6-bedroom, 7 1/2-bath home showcases luxury with African mahogany cabinetry, onyx and tiger eye stone, Italian porcelain, kiawe hardwood floors and custom koa furnishings.
Walls of glass open to the lanai where “waterfalls, koi ponds and a resort-style pool and spa create seamless indoor-outdoor living,” according to the listing.
The primary suite has dual lanais and panoramic views across the Pacific toward Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. Ownership includes access to the exclusive Mauna Lani Beach Club.
Stukin also sold actor Roseanne Barr’s macadamia nut farm, located in Honoka‘a, last summer. Barr bought the property in 2007 for $1.78 million. It became the backdrop of her 2011 Lifetime reality series “Roseanne’s Nuts.”

Stukin said he had multiple offers on the 46-acre farm that was on the market for a week before it sold at $2.6 million.
