Minor coastal flooding is expected during high tide through Wednesday morning across the Hawaiian Islands.

According to the National Weather Service in Honolulu, peak monthly high tides, combined with water levels running higher than predicted, will lead to minor flooding along the shoreline and in low-lying coastal areas.

Coastal flooding is expected around the daily early morning peak tide. The flooding will impact vulnerable low-lying coastal roadways, docks, boat ramps and other coastal infrastructure.

Additionally, there. may also be flooding on beaches that are normally dry, minor coastal erosion and saltwater inundation.
