The Food Basket closed and Kahikina food drive postponed on Monday due to weather

Due to inclement weather conditions across Hawaiʻi Island, The Food Basket will be closed on Monday, Feb. 9 at both the Hilo and Kona warehouses to ensure the safety of its staff, volunteers and community.
The Kahikina Food Drive scheduled for Monday also has been postponed.
Updated information will be shared once conditions improve.
While the facilities are closed, The Food Basket team is standing by and coordinating with partners should emergency food response be needed.
