Law enforcement seeks help finding runaway teen last seen in Puna

Sophia Nihipali-Moniz was last seen on Thursday, Jan. 29, at about 4:18 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 130 and Highway 132 in Puna, police said.
Nihipali-Moniz is described as Hawaiian and Filipino, with a medium-brown complexion. She is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs about 119 pounds, and has medium-length black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Hawaiʻi Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
