Transfer Station in Ocean View now open on Saturdays starting Jan. 17

The Recycling and Transfer Station in Ocean View is expanding its hours starting this week.
Starting on Jan. 17, the transfer station will be open on Saturdays to allow weekend drop-off recycling for scrap metal, white goods, cardboard, and glass, in addition to trash service.
See the weekly operating schedule below:
- Sunday: 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Recycling is available from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. (no scrap metal or white goods drop off).
- Tuesday: 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Recycling is available from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Friday: 6 a.m.-6 p.m. HI-5 Redemption is available from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Recycling is available from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Saturday: 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Recycling is available from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
