Man charged with sexual assault of minor at Mountain View home

A 35 year-old man from Mountain View was arrested and charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor on Monday at a Mountain View residence, according to Hawaiʻi County Prosecuting Attorney Kelden Waltjen.

Jason T. Law is scheduled to make his initial appearance today in Hilo District Court. He remains in custody, with his bail set at $900,000.  

Law is charged with first degree sexual assault of a minor less than 14 years old. This charge is a class A felony offense, which carries a  penalty of a 20-year prison term.
