As part of their ongoing community outreach to listen to community members, the Hawai‘i Police Department scheduled six Coffee With a Cop events in February from from Hāwī to Kona.

The last two events with Area II Community Policing officers are scheduled for:

  • 8 to 10 a.m. Feb. 21 at Kona Coffee & Tea, 74-5588 Palani Road, in Kailua-Kona.
  • 8 to 10 a.m. Feb. 27 at Island Gourmet Market in Queens’ Marketplace, 69-0201 Waikōloa Beach Drive, in Waikōloa.

These popular events are intentionally informal with no agenda. Topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.
