Crews with the Hawai‘i County Department of Water Supply are responding to a new water main break in Hāwī.

Customers along portions of Lincoln Avenue and Mali‘u Road, along with any side roads and lanes, will have no water service while crews repair the break near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Mali‘u Road.

However, the department has yet to determine when the water will be turned off.

Repairs are estimated to take 4 to 5 hours to complete once the broken main break is located.
