County crews work to repair water main break in North Kohala

A water main break in Hāwī has resulted in road closures for portions of Lincoln Avenue and Maliu Road.

According to Hawai‘i County’s Department of Water Supply, customers in the affected area will have no water service while crews repair a water main break at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Maliu Road.

County crews estimate the repairs will be completed and service restored by 7 p.m.

A Department of Water Supply water tanker will be placed at the north side of the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Park Road for the public’s use.
