Update: Endangered 25-year-old from Waimea found

Update at 7:56 a.m. Oct. 9: The Hawai‘i Police Department reports that 25-year-old Francisco Manalo of Waimea, who was previously reported as a missing endangered person, was located Oct. 4 in good health.

Original post at 4:05 p.m. Oct. 3: Big Island police urgently need your help finding a 25-year-old man who has been missing for a day and has a medical condition that requires medication.

Francisco Manalo

Francisco Manalo was last seen Wednesday by family members on Pu‘u Pulehu Loop in Waimea.

Manalo is 5-foot-1, 110 pounds, with a tan complexion, short black hair, mustache and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing all black clothing. He also walks with a noticeable limp.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to immediately contact Officer Robert Mckay Jr. with the Hawai‘i Police Department South Kohala Patrol at 808-887-3080.
