Hawai‘i Island police are seeking the public’s help in finding a missing Kona man who is considered endangered.

Fifty-four-year-old Roger Tolar was last seen this morning on the 74-5000 block of Kealapua Street at 8:10 a.m.

Tolar is Caucasian/Hawaiian, 5-foot-8 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with short brown hair, brown eyes and a light brown complexion. Tolar was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, tan shorts, and was carrying a gray & brown backpack.

Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to contact Kona Patrol Officer Cody Sheddy at the non-emergency telephone number 808-935-3311 or via email at Cody.Sheddy@hawaiicounty.gov.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
