Have you seen either of these 17-year-olds? Big Island police want to know

Big Island police are asking the public if anyone has seen two teens that were each reported as runaways in completely different incidents.

Deacon Hawk and Cherish Ahulau-Kaleo

Deacon Hawk was last seen at 5:15 a.m. Aug. 3 near the 2400 block of Kekūanaōʻa Street in Hilo wearing a camouflage hat, dark colored hoodie and gray sweatpants. He was also carrying two bags.

The 17-year-old runaway is 5-foot-9, 165 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes, a fair complexion and thin-build.

Cherish Ahulau-Kaleo of Hilo was last seen July 20 on the 1700-block of Kinoʻole Street in Hilo wearing a red shirt and blue jean shorts.

The 17-year-old runaway is 5-foot-3, 100 pounds, with brown medium-length hair, brown eyes and is Hawaiian with a fair complextion.

Anyone with information about Hawk’s or Ahulau-Kaleo’s whereabouts is asked to call the Hawaiʻi Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
