Update at 12:15 p.m. July 11: 26-year-old Sun Popovich, who was previously reported missing, was located by police July 7 in Mountain View in good health.
Original post from 6:52 p.m. July 6: Hawai‘i Island police seek the public’s help in finding a woman who was last seen in downtown Hilo on the Fourth of July.
Sun Popovich, 26, was last seen at around 8 p.m. She is Native American, 5 feet 4 inches tall and 140 pounds. Authorities have not provided a photo at this time.
Anyone with information on the woman’s whereabouts should call Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency number at 808-935-3311.
