Hawai‘i Island police renew request for information on missing Puna man

Hawai’i Island police are renewing their request for any information related to the disappearance of a 33-year-old Puna man.

Justin Ferreira

Justin Kawika Ferreira was reportedly last seen on Oct. 21, 2023, in Kea‘au. He was wearing camouflage pants and no shirt.

Ferreira is 5 feet 7 inches tall, approximately 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The 33-year-old is known to frequent the Hilo, Puna and Kona areas; his family is deeply concerned for his wellbeing.

Police ask anyone who may have information relative to the disappearance of Ferreira to call Detective David Po’ohina of the Area I Criminal Investigation Section, at 808-961-2385, or via email at David.Poohina@hawaiicounty.gov or the police department’s non-emergency number at 808-935-3311.
