Hawai’i Island police seek the public’s help in finding a 53-year-old man who was reported missing.

Roger Tolar was last seen on Thursday around 7 a.m. in Kailua-Kona. It is unknown what clothing he was wearing.

Tolar is Hawaiian, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 200 pounds with brownish-gray hair. Tolar may need medication and is known to frequent Kona town.

Police ask anyone with information on Tolar’s whereabouts to contact Officer Eli Cayetano at the department’s non-emergency line 808-935-3311 or Eli.Cayetano@hawaiicounty.gov.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
