Swell Summary

Surf along north and east facing shores will remain at warning levels through much of the weekend due to a mix of large wind waves associated with the strong northeast winds and a large medium- to long-period north-northeast (020 deg) swell moving through. As the northeast swell lowers Sunday into early next week, a long-period northwest swell arriving late Sunday will lead to advisory-level surf for north and west facing shores Sunday night through Monday night. Expect advisory level surf to linger for east facing shores into the upcoming week as the trades shift out of the east and remain strong. A downward trend is expected later in the week on all shores.
