Hawai‘i Island police renew request for help finding teens reported as runaways last year

Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for the public’s help in finding two teen runaways in unrelated cases, 17-year-old Zoeylynn Puaoi-Pinheiro and 16-year-old Mary Costner.

Zoeylynn is known to frequent the Hilo area and was last seen in downtown Hilo on Sept. 5, 2023. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall, 110-120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Mary is known to frequent the Waimea area. She was last seen in Pa‘auilo on Oct. 31, 2023, wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and Croc sandals. Mary is Asian with a light complexion and medium build, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 190 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
