Hawai‘i Island police seek public help finding teen boy

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating 15-year-old Kainalu Castro-Santos who was reported as a runaway.

Kainalu was last seen in the area of Ala Naualani Street in Volcano, on Sunday.

He is Hawaiian with a medium complexion and build, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, with a shaved head and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on the teen’s whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or contact Officer Shane Hanley at shane.hanley@hawaiicounty.gov.
