Kona woman sought in custodial interference investigation

Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s help in locating Tatiana Sayad, 27, of Kona, and her 2-year-old son Ashley Allen.

Sayad is wanted on an outstanding warrant relative to a custodial interference investigation. Outside of Kona, she is known to frequent the Waimea and Hilo areas.

The pair were last seen in October 2023 in the Waimea area.

Sayad, who may also be using the last name of Jones, is 5 feet 7 inches tall, 137 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Ashley has blond hair and blue eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sayad or Allen to call the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or contact Detective John Kari by phone at 808-326-4646, Ext. 265, or by email at John.Kari@hawaiicounty.gov.
