Big Island Now poll results: Voters reveal strong leanings toward a certain type of Christmas tree
Christmas is weeks away.
Decorations are up and shops are bustling with people shopping for friends and family. Big Island Now wanted to know what your plans were for a Christmas tree this holiday season.
With 323 people casting votes, the top pick was putting up and or buying an artificial tree with 143 votes. Trailing far behind in the second slot with 37 votes was “I don’t celebrate Christmas with a tree.”
The poll also revealed that voters preferred buying their trees at big box stores where they are usually cheaper, garnering 30 votes. Only 17 people voted to buy one at a local farm.
For those who celebrate Christmas and love the holiday tree, there’s still plenty of time to pick one up to enjoy for the remaining weeks of 2023.
