Police seek public’s help in locating missing teen

The Hawaii Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating missing child Destinee Mamone.

Mamone is 13 years old and 130 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white long sleeved t-shirt and shorts.

Mamone was last seen on the 1000 Block of Kaumana Drive in Hilo on Oct. 1 at 1 a.m. Mamone was initially reported as a runaway but due to her age, she is considered endangered.
