Swell Summary

Surf along south facing shores will continue to slowly decline as the current small south swell eases. Background swells are expected through the weekend.

Small surf along north facing shores will continue today due to a short-period north-northeast swell. A similar size north- northeast swell is expected to arrive Thursday night and Friday. A slightly larger, mid-period north-northwest swell is expected late Sunday through the middle of next week.

Surf along east facing shores will continue to remain rough and choppy through the weekend, trending down early next week as wind speeds taper off.

NORTH EAST

Surf: Knee to thigh high ESE short period wind swell with occasional waist high sets.

Conditions: Sideshore texture/chop with SSE winds 10-15mph in the morning shifting ESE 15-20mph in the afternoon.

Surf: Minimal (ankle high or less) surf.

Conditions: Clean in the early morning with SE winds 5-10mph. Semi choppy conditions move in during the morning hours with the winds shifting WSW.

Conditions: Semi glassy in the morning with SE winds less than 5mph. Semi glassy/semi bumpy conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting SW 5-10mph. Glassy conditions are expected for the late day with WSW winds less than 5mph.

Surf: Knee high ESE short period wind swell in the morning builds in the afternoon with occasional sets up to waist high.

Conditions: Glassy in the early morning with W winds less than 5mph. Bumpy/semi bumpy conditions move in during the morning hours with the winds shifting E 5-10mph.
