Maui police ID six more Lāhainā fire victims

The Maui Police Department released the name of six more victims from the Aug. 8 Lāhainā fire on Sunday, including an 11-year-old.

The following individuals were identified by the Maui Police Department. All are from Lāhainā.

11-year-old Justin Recolizado, Maria Victoria Recolizado, 51, Michael Morinho, 61, Ediomede Pavian Castillo, 35, Alfred Rawlings, 84, and Terri Thomas, 62.

This brings the total number of victims publicly identified to 82 of the estimated 97 fatalities, which is down from the death toll of 115 that had been reported for more than two weeks. Another seven people have been identified, but their families have not been located or notified.

Additionally, Maui police released the fifth list of the names of 22 individuals who have been reported unaccounted for/missing following the deadly blaze. To view the list online, visit http://www.mauipolice.com/.
