What is the toughest job? Take Big Island Now’s 30-second poll #2
Ilima Shim, who grew up in Hōnaunau on the Big Island’s west side, recently was one of 12 competitors on the CBS reality TV show “Tough as Nails.”
The show celebrates men and women who roll up their sleeves everyday and work long, hard hours to keep the nation running.
In the TV show, it was a concrete form setter who won, but we want to know what you think. Which profession do you think is the toughest on the Big Island?
Leave a comment below to let us know why you voted the way you did. Or if you think there is a job that was tougher that we left out of the list of choices.
And on Sunday, March 12, watch for a story about Shim’s experience on “Tough as Nails.”
