Swell Summary

A new long period XL northwest swell (310-320 degree) is expected to rapidly build surf heights to High Surf Warning (HSW) levels late tonight and peak on Wednesday. These surf heights will gradually trend lower from Thursday into Friday. Another northwest swell is expected to potentially reach High Surf Advisory levels for north and west facing shores by Sunday.

Small surf remains in the forecast for south and east facing shores this week.

NORTH EAST

Surf: Waist high SE short period wind swell for the morning with occasional stomach sets. This rotates more ENE and builds to waist to chest high in the afternoon.

Conditions: Sideshore texture/chop with SSE winds 10-15mph in the morning shifting SE 5-10mph in the afternoon. Glassy conditions are expected by late afternoon with S winds less than 5mph.

NORTH WEST

Conditions: Semi clean/textured in the morning with S winds 10-15mph. Sideshore texture/chop conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting to the SW.

Conditions: Light sideshore texture in the morning with SE winds 5-10mph. Bumpy/semi bumpy conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting to the SSW. Glassy conditions are expected for the late day with NNE winds less than 5mph.
