Last month, LUVA Real Estate, a boutique brokerage, luxury vacation rental, and long-term management company, celebrated 10 years in business.

To commemorate the milestone, the company gathered to celebrate at the Kona Sea Salt farm at Kalihi Point. In their years in business, founders say LUVA has grown beyond its expectations. Throughout the evening’s celebrations, the guests heard speeches from founders/partners Jean and Yuki Laliberte, principal broker Sara Layne Pedro, as well as Hawai‘i County Mayor Mitch Roth.

“What makes a great community is great people and great businesses,” Roth stated.

A recurring theme in the talks was how the brokerage has been ingrained in the Big Island and Oahu communities via its honest, compassionate and people-first approach to business and life.

Growing a business while putting customers and employees first is difficult. In a competitive real estate market, LUVA’s dedication to an honest approach hasn’t always worked in their favor, but they are aware that the seeds you plant produce the fruit you bear.

LUVA Real Estate, recently designated Hawaii’s 27th fastest growing company in 2022, has grown over the past 10 years while remaining true to its roots as a boutique brokerage; as their owner puts it, “We will never go corporate.”
