Police Seek Public Help Identifying Suspects in Waikōloa Store Theft

Authorities seek the public’s help identifying two individuals involved in a theft at a Waikōloa store last month.

The incident occurred on May 14 at a store located in the 69-0000 block of Waikoloa Beach Drive. According to Hawai‘i police, the two males were observed working together to remove an electronic smoking device secured within a locked cabinet between 740 a.m. to 745 a.m.

Both suspects appear to be local males in their late teens to early 20s wearing red long sleeve shirts and dark colored pants with necklaces draped around their necks. One of the suspects appears to be 5 feet 6 inches tall, 170 pounds, with dark afro-style hair and a thin mustache.

The second suspect appears to be 5 feet 8 inches tall, 170 pounds, with dark brown hair.

Police ask for anyone who recognizes these individuals to call Officer Ronald Paro at 808-887-3080 or email at Ronald.Paro@hawaiicounty.gov or call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 808-961-8300.
