Highway 11 in South Kona Closed

Hawaii Police Department reported before 6 a.m. Saturday that Highway 11 near mile 97, North of Kona Paradise, Kaohe Road in South Kona was closed due a motor vehicle crash and downed utility poles and lines.

Repairs are being conducted and crews estimated five or six hours for the road to open.

Use alternate routes.
