Hawai‘i police officials confirm one fatality following a car crash on Queen Ka‘ahumanu Highway between Waikōloa Road and Waikōloa Beach Drive early this morning.
The section of road closed at around 3 a.m. The road reopened shortly before 10 a.m. It is unknown at this time how many vehicles were involved.
Motorists are being rerouted and advised to take alternate routes.
